I forgot to share something with you. Prayer only works via emotion. What this means is that prayer means absolutely nothing to the universe (God), without emotion. Praise when your happy. Feel your happiness resonate and give thanks. Despair will be miraculously lifted if you have the humility and faith in a power greater than yourself.

26 months clean and sober. My life has changed completely. I am no longer a self centered, self serving judgmental cretin. My family are everything to me. Through using the 12 step program of Alcoholics Anonymous I have found a new freedom and a new happiness. My life is not easy now, I am in serious financial shit but I have a new found faith that the God of my understanding will make everything alright; as long as I keep doing the next right thing...
I'm planning on doing a counseling course and opening a rehabilitation center here in South Africa.
I'll get back to you in a year or so and tell you all about it... God willing.
